Leafline, a South African social enterprise, is the catalyst for an innovative range of reusable and washable adult, women, and baby sanitary products.
Candy Androliakos started when she discovered a need for a more cost-effective way of dealing with adult incontinence whilst working as a beauty therapist in a retirement home. Leafline produces affordable and biodegradable sanitary products, nappies, chair and bed protectors made with natural fibres from the cayenne pineapple.
They are also winners of the Enviropaedia Eco-Health and Wellness Award at the 2022 Eco-Logic Awards.
