FruityXFusion is developing biodegradable packaging, materials and utensils using fruit and vegetable waste. They add value to 'waste' by allowing local fruit and vegetable farmers/vendors to salvage some profit from their commercially rejected fresh produce. Adding on to increasing the return on investment for farmers, they are also hoping to reduce plastic pollution by replacing single-use plastics with environmentally friendly products.
